Welcome to Addis ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Addis website, desktop application, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Our Service

Addis is an AI-powered desktop work companion that helps users work more productively through real-time voice, audio, and screen-aware assistance. With your permission, Addis may listen to your voice, respond through audio or text, and view your screen or application context to provide relevant help while you work.

We may update or improve the Services over time, and certain new features may be subject to additional terms.

2. Eligibility

To use Addis, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Access

You may sign in to Addis using Google Sign-In or other supported authentication methods. We do not collect or store passwords. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Some desktop features may require permissions such as microphone access, screen recording, screen sharing, accessibility access, or notifications. You can manage these permissions through your device or operating system settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the functionality, security, or integrity of the platform.
  • Use Addis to secretly monitor, record, or capture another person without proper notice or consent.
  • Share confidential, sensitive, regulated, or third-party information through Addis unless you have the right to do so.
  • Upload or transmit content that violates intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent Addis.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Depending on how you use Addis and the permissions you grant, the Services may process prompts, voice input, audio, transcripts, screen content, screenshots, application context, device information, usage data, and diagnostics.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any information visible on your screen or captured through your microphone.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to Addis — including code, design, text, graphics, software, interfaces, and workflows — remains the exclusive property of PELOPS2 and its licensors.

You retain ownership of any data or content you provide through the Services. By submitting or making content available to Addis, you grant us a limited license to process it as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

Addis may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including Google services, AI model providers, speech providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, and error monitoring tools.

Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. PELOPS2 is not responsible for third-party actions, outages, or data handling practices, except as required by law.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Addis reliable and available. However, realtime AI, voice, audio, and screen-aware features may depend on your internet connection, device performance, operating system permissions, and third-party providers.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, realtime performance, or error-free responses.

9. Disclaimers

Addis is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for your specific purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it, sharing it, or taking action based on it. Addis does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, or other professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Addis and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including reliance on AI-generated outputs or unauthorized sharing of content visible or audible through your device.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to use the Services during the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Addis at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Services, or caused harm to others.

Upon termination, your right to access or use Addis ends immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Effective Date." Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
